Privacy Policy

Your account

To use WeekWise you create an account with your name, email address and a password. We use these to sign you in and to keep your planner in sync on every device you use. Passwords are stored hashed, never in plain text.

What is synced

The things you put into the planner are saved to your WeekWise account: calendar blocks, tasks, your weekly priorities, reflections, and past weeks, along with app settings such as your goals and theme. A copy also stays on your device so the app works offline.

When you import a calendar (.ics link or file) or a school schedule (CSV or spreadsheet), the events and periods you choose to import become part of your planner data. We do not keep an ongoing connection to your Google or Outlook account.

The AI week coach

When you use “Optimize my week” (a Pro feature), the current week's blocks, tasks and priorities are sent to our servers and processed by an AI model to generate suggestions. That information is used only to answer that request. It is not sold or shared for advertising.

Subscriptions

Purchases are handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We use RevenueCat to check whether your subscription is active. RevenueCat receives your WeekWise account ID and purchase receipts. Neither we nor RevenueCat ever receive your payment card details.

Usage analytics

We collect anonymous usage events, such as which screens are opened, to understand how the app is used and improve it. These events never include your calendar content, tasks or reflections.

Who receives your data

• Our hosting provider, which stores your account and planner data on our behalf.
• Our AI provider, only for weeks you send to the coach, to produce suggestions.
• RevenueCat, Apple and Google, for subscription status and purchases.

We do not share your data with anyone else unless the law requires it.

Keeping and deleting your data

We keep your data for as long as you have an account. You can delete it at any time in the app under Settings › Delete account. That removes your account and all synced records and clears the app on that device. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription: cancel that in your App Store or Google Play settings.

Children

WeekWise is made for school staff and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
